Bingwa Esports Technologies ("Bingwa", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Bingwa mobile application and the website at bingwaesports.com (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you register and use Bingwa:

Account information — your phone number, display name, email address, and date of birth.
Gaming information — your in-game usernames (such as your eFootball or PUBG name), match results, scores, and tournament participation.
Performance data — your wins, losses, rankings, ELO ratings, and statistics generated through play.
Uploaded content — screenshots you submit to verify match results.
Device and usage data — device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account and profile.
To organise tournaments, generate fixtures, and record results.
To calculate rankings, standings, and leaderboards.
To verify match results and maintain fair play.
To send you notifications about matches, tournaments, and results.
To improve the Service and troubleshoot problems.
To communicate with you about your account or support requests.

3. Authentication and Firebase

We use Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and notifications. Your phone number is used to sign you in securely via one-time password (OTP). Firebase processes data in accordance with Google's privacy practices. See the Firebase Privacy and Security page for details.

4. Public Information

Your display name, in-game username, and competitive statistics (rankings, points, results) may be displayed publicly on leaderboards, the league table, and on our website so that other players and spectators can follow the competition. Do not use a display name you wish to keep private.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only:

With service providers who help us operate the Service (such as Google Firebase and, where used, AI verification providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
To protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Bingwa, our players, and the public.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account at any time, after which we will delete or anonymise your personal information, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate information.
Request deletion of your account and personal data.
Withdraw consent to notifications at any time in the app settings.

8. Children's Privacy

Bingwa is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including secure authentication and encrypted data transmission. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
